At the core of the American Sewing Guild are the Neighborhood Groups. In our chapter, each neighborhood group offers sewing enthusiasts:
We welcome visitors! You can attend up to two neighborhood groups before deciding to join ASG. If you would like to become a member, use the Online Application at the ASG Website.
ASG members can attend any and all neighborhood groups anywhere ASG has a chapter. If you're traveling to another region of the country, find out about the ASG chapter there and see what they have going on! You can find out about other ASG chapters at the national ASG site.

| Creative Inspirations | First Tuesday, 1.00pm A Different Touch, 1107 S. Military Highway, Chesapeake SPECIAL INTEREST GROUP. A group which explores many forms of creativity. |
| Material Girls | Third Wednesday, 1:00pm First Christian Church, 1458 Todds Lane, Hampton This group concentrates on Community Service in their community and projects that can be completed in a day. |
| Needleworks | Fourth Thursday, 12.30pm- 2.30pm Tidewater Sew-Vac, 1352 Fordham Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 A crafty group exploring creative projects using needle and thread. |
| Norfolk Needlers | Third Tuesday, 1:00pm Janaf Branch of Norfolk Library, 124 Janaf Shopping Center, Norfolk This group contentrates on small projects and techniques with some crafty fun thrown in. |
| Old Towne Stitchers | Third Tuesday, 1:00pm Colonial Heritage Clubhouse, Williamsburg Sewing for fun with friends, coming together for creative ventures and community service projects. |

| Seamsters | Third Wednesday, 1:00pm Tidewater Church of the Nazarene, 5514 N. Parliament Drive, Virginia Beach This group covers a wide variety of sewing ideas, techniques and inspirations. |
| Sew 'N Sews | Fourth Monday, 7:00pm St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 807 West Mercury Blvd, Hampton, Va. 23666 A crafty group concentrating on gift and home decorating items. |

| Stilettos | Second Wednesday, 6:30pm Aldersgate Campus of New Creation UMC, 4320 Bruce Road, Chesapeake A hands on group, who sew at meetings and love to do Community Service projects once a quarter. |
